It is difficult to see these because the pictures were taken with a smaller, less sophisticated camera than that of my husband's so they are not really clear. I have already sent
these mermaids in to the Magazine so it will be a while before I can take better pictures. I got the idea to make these when my son brought me a small stuffed mermaid while on his trip to Hawaii. I put it in a sardine can and hung it on the wall. It is very cute but I thought I would make my own rendition of them. These did not take long. I like the use of embossing powder on the tails. It makes them look more shiny and fish like.
