Joan Walsh Anglund was one of my most favorite Artists. I enjoyed her art, read her books and collected her funny simple Big-headed dolls. I collect anything JWA. I bought a birthday paper doll card with her art and kept it for quite sometime. I made seven ATC art dolls using almost everything from the one card. I even made a stand up card with the left-over little pieces of art. I made the legs or head move, depending on the clothing that Little Nell would be wearing. I made these for myself. Sometimes you just have to make somethings for yourself.

This week I have been working on my art Journal, Some dolls patterns for ETSY and these ATCs. The theme is "Let's Have Tea". I made two and did not like them and so I added some layers and reworked them. Not sure which one I want to keep for myself and send the rest for swap.

I had so much fun making these that I decided to make 6 ( had already sent one off). I chose three red and three green. They were two days worth of work but I was interrupted quite a bit during that time. Their legs, arms and heads move with brads and they fold up to pretty close to ATC size. I may be fudging just a little on that though. My oldest daughter really likes Betty Boop and would sing her song adorably by the time she was two. "I wanna be loved by you, just you and nobody else but you. I wanna be loved by you alone Boop oop ee doo!"
