Mary Flower-Miniature Candy Book.

Size: 1' X 1". Little pockets to put in the candy.
I made about 8 little books. This one was a gift.

Mary Flower- My Art Tree Journal Page.

This is called "The Sound of a Tree" based on a poem written by that name which I have carefully put into the trunk and branches of the tree. This was just to remember my dad's Poetry. He was a very good poet. I am still not sure if I want to add some large word for the title of the poem.

Mary Flower-Little Leather Fairy Book.

Made from an antique Very Small Leather Book. I think the book is about 100 years old. I added some gold and elements and took the  "inards" out and made it into a little fairy book. The new pages are made from hand painted water color paper and glued back in.

Mary Flower Hand made Sewing Art Journal

The cover is made from a Christmas LED box. Then I bound it with buttons and a tiny pair of scissors. I used every thing vintage that I could get my hands on that had to do with sewing. I think there are about 90+ pages with pockets and emphemera, old patterns, hand made tags, pages from and old Singer Sewing Machine manual, old cards, letters and lots of pockets and tags.

Mary Flower - Art Journal Page.

Another art journal page. I called this one "The Pattern is my Imagination". I really like the colors and textures in This. It is another two page spread in my Dillusions (Large Journal) Art Journal.

3-D Resin Mixed Media on Masonite by Mary Flower

This is not quite finished yet because I want to put a white picket fence at the bottom but I am waiting for inspiration about it. But this is very 3-D and I love the shiny thick look with 3-D items embedded into the different sections. This was a fun experiment.

"If Primitive Paper Art Dolls could talk"

There are moments when I just want to get sort of crazy and fill the page with silly stuff. This is one of those times. Some of it would not make sense to just anyone. Some of the stuff is "inside jokes" but still the ridiculousness of the page is still comical, depending on your sense of humor.

Art Journal Pages by Mary Flower

I am really liking my new journal. This page has to do with thinking positively to overcome sadness and a broken heart. Journaling is healing.

This page was for fun and only fun. My cute little mermaid.

I made this page because I love Coffee mugs and drinking coffee. I have a whole collection of mugs to choose from. It is the first thing I do in the morning. I have a special cupboard designated for my pretty mugs.

This was really fun to make too. It reads:
"Sometimes your medicine bottle has on it: SHAKE WELL BEFORE USING. That is what God has to do with some of his people. He has to shake them well before they are usable."
I usually make my own art journals. This journal is a Dillusion Journal and I am really enjoying it. I can not just journal in one journal though. I jump around to many.

More of Grandma's Stuffed Monsters for three adorable little kids.................

My daughter's best friend has three little children. She thinks I am an awesome artist. I am just me but she makes me feel good. She gave me some clothing that were her kids' favorite outgrown clothing and I took them and cut them apart to make them each an EASTER Monster ( I know...right?----too funny but it is very different and every other kid gets a stuffed bunny....right.

More of Grandma's Stuffed Monsters

My Son in Law's brother one day wanted me to fix his work pants. They were torn so badly that I started laughing and said, "What do you think I am........a miracle worker?"  We both laughed. But I told him that I would like to have them and he should buy some new ones which he did. Well, I made a Stuffed Monster out of them. HE LOVED it! Then he brought me another very worn pair and asked me to make his girlfriend a monster with the second pair. It was a hit for sure. I even made a baby monster and put it in a pocket pouch on the front of her monster. They both really appreciated the monsters.
